When visiting Rito Village you may have come across a child Rito talking about her grandpa telling her a story about finding a SUPER important treasure in the belly of a snow-white birdie. The Bird in the Mountains secret shrine solution – Mozo Sheno Shrine Go over and stand near the edge while holding it above your head so that the shadow covers the center of the platform at 4 pm. Snowball’s shadow needs to cover the center of the pedestal for it to activate Update (Edited on January 15, 2018): A word of wisdom from our user Constince, to make it even more easier: You can actually just make a moderately large snowball, but small enough that you can still pick it up. It took a bit of tinkering to put the snowball into position (I had to use stasis rune to put it into the smaller pond), but if you save beforehand you should be able to do it in a few tries. Your goal is to wait for the sun to get into position to activate the pedestal and then roll the snowball into such position that it casts the shadow onto the center of the pedestal. The smaller one is next to the edge of the hill and if you look over the edge you will see a shrine pedestal. You will also notice two ponds of water next to the house. You can roll them around the surrounding snow to make them larger. Next to the house wreckage, in which the diary resides, are several small snowballs. You can start this one by reading a diary on top of the only snowy mountain top in the Gerude region (refer to screenshots for start location). Secret of the Snowy Peaks puzzle guide – Suma Sahma Shrine The solution to the riddle is to shoot the statue with the glowing eyes with your bow (once night starts). You get Frostspear in the shrine for your efforts. You need to drop the Naydra’s scale you acquired into the waters of the spring to reveal the shrine (go into your inventory, click X on the scale, click A to add, B to exit, A to drop into water). Once done you will get teleported to the Spring of Wisdom. Each time you shoot one of the eyes the dragon moves to another position on the mountain. Once you get to the top your goal is to shoot the red eye growths on the dragon’s body. I went around and reached the top having to avoid only 6-7 enemies on the road. If you follow the main road to the top you will have to fight many enemies along the way. You can check our guide for Zelda cold protection for details. You will need some serious cold protection gear or food as well. Also, make sure you have at least 20 arrows with you if you are as bad a shot as I am. The really hard part of this shrine quest is getting on top of Mount Lanayru. It starts in Hateno village from a guy named Medda found in a field behind one of the houses. This is probably one of the first shrine quests you will get. The Spring of Wisdom – Jitan Sa’mi Shrine – Frostspear
